Philip W. T. Pong received a B.Eng. from the University of Hong Kong (HKU) in 2002 with 1st class honours. Then he obtained a PhD in engineering at the University of Cambridge in 2005. He was a postdoctoral researcher at the Magnetic Materials Group at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) for three years. Currently he is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT).His research interest focuses on the fault detection, predictive maintenance, and anomaly detection of power grid. He is the Founding Director of the Green Technology Research and Training Laboratory, leading the research and education activities of offshore wind energy at NJIT. Philip Pong is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (FIET), a Fellow of the Institute of Physics (FInstP), a Fellow of the Energy Institute (FEI), a Fellow of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (FIMMM), a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (FHKIE), a Fellow of the NANOSMAT Society (FNS), a chartered physicist (CPhys), a chartered engineer (CEng), a chartered energy engineer, a registered professional engineer (R.P.E. in Electrical, Electronics, Energy), and a Senior Member of IEEE (SMIEEE). He serves on the editorial boards for several IEEE and SCI journals.

Weidong Zhu is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and the founder and director of its Dynamic Systems and Vibrations Laboratory and Laser Vibrometry and Optical Measurement Laboratory. He received his double major BS degree in Mechanical Engineering and Computational Science from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 1986, and his MS and PhD degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University and the University of California at Berkeley in 1988 and 1994, respectively. He is a recipient of the 2004 National Science Foundation CAREER Award. He has been an ASME Fellow since 2010, and has served as an Associate Editor of the ASME Journal of Vibration and Acoustics and the ASME Journal of Dynamic Systems, Measurement, and Control, and as a Subject Editor of the Journal of Sound and Vibration and Nonlinear Dynamics. His research spans the fields of dynamics, vibration, control, applied mechanics, metamaterials, structural health monitoring, and renewable energy, and involves analytical development, numerical simulation, experimental validation, and industrial application. He has published 308 SCI-indexed journal papers in these areas and has eight issued U.S. patents. He received 14 best paper awards from the ASME and Society of Experimental Mechanics. He is a recipient of the 2020 University System of Maryland Board of Regents Faculty Award for Excellence in Research.

Paulo Santos [ORCID 0000-0002-0134-6762] is currently Assistant Professor in Department of Civil Engineering of the University of Coimbra, Portugal. He is an integrated member of ISISE (Institute for Sustainability and Innovation in Structural Engineering) research centre, Functional Performance (FP) research group. The main actual scientific research fields are Thermal Behaviour, Energy Efficiency in Buildings and Sustainable Construction. He is author of around 160 scientific publications, among books (4), book chapters (3), articles published in peer-reviewed scientific journals (52) and papers published in proceedings of scientific conferences (96). He has around 2,000 citations and 60,000 reads on Research Gate network (Berlin), with an h-index of 22. He was supervisor and co-supervisor of 47 master and 3 doctoral theses already completed within his research topics. He participated in around 12 funded European and Portuguese research projects, being nowadays the Principal Investigator of the Tyre4BuildIns – “Recycled tyre rubber resin-bonded for building insulation systems towards energy efficiency” research project. He was member of the scientific committee and/or organizer of several national and international scientific conferences. He reviewed, by request of the editors, as member of the journal scientific committee, 94 articles submitted to international journals (see publons website). He is member of iiSBE – “International Initiative for a Sustainable Built Environment” (2011, - ) and TC14 – "Sustainability & Eco-efficiency of Steel Construction" of the “European Convention for Constructional Steelwork” – ECCS (2008, - ).

An expert in the field of environment-friendly, energy-efficient construction, and thermal comfort. Her dissertation "Energy assessment of buildings with the use of multi-criteria and multi-level optimization methods" received a state award. Over 100 publications. (IF index 51, January 2022). Dr. Maico Roris Severino has a degree in Industrial Engineering - Agroindustrial, master´s, and Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from the Universidade Federal de São Carlos (UFSCar) - Brazil. He is currently a professor at the Universidade Federal de Goiás (UFG) - Brazil, working in undergraduate and graduate courses. Over the last 10 years, Dr. Severino has been dedicated to research relating the use of renewable energies and sustainability to operations management and supply chain management in industries (Green-Sustainable Supply Chain Management). He has participated in international research consortia supported by the Newton Fund - British Council, United Kingdom Research Innovation (UKRI), European Commission, among others, as well as local funding agencies, such as Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico (CNPq) and Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa, do Estado de Goiás (FAPEG).

JUSTYNA ŻYWIOŁEK was born on December 24, 1986 in Częstochowa. She completed her master's studies in the field of Metallurgy in 2010. In 2014, she defended her doctoral dissertation with honors in the field of management science, specializing in security science, entitled: The impact of information process management on the Security of knowledge resources in the Enterprise, at the Faculty of Organization and Management of the Lodz University of Technology. Since January 2015, he has been working as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Management at the Technical University of Częstochowa. He is a respected researcher in Poland and abroad for his experience in management issues: knowledge and information management and their security. She has published over 160 articles and is the author/co-author / editor of seven books. She actively participated in presenting research results at various international conferences. He deals with data protection, is an inspector of personal data protection, and a leading ISO 27001: 2018 auditor. Ph.D. Eng. Dr. Jinsong Wu is proposer (2021) the Founder (2022) and Founding Editor-in-Chief (2022-present) for the new international journal, Green Technologies and Sustainability (GTS), co-published by Elsevier and China Science Publishing & Media Ltd., jointly called KeAi (https://www.keaipublishing.com/en/journals/green-technologies-and-sustainability, ISSN：2949-7361). He received 2020 IEEE Green Communications and Computing Technical Committee Distinguished Technical Achievement Recognition Award, for his outstanding technical leadership and achievement in green wireless communications and networking, and received 2017 IEEE Green Communications and Computing Technical Committee Excellent Services Award for his Excellent Technical Leadership and Services in the Green Communications and Computing Community. He was the leading Editor and a co-author of the comprehensive book, entitled “Green Communications: Theoretical Fundamentals, Algorithms, and Applications”, published by CRC Press in September 2012. Prof. Muhsin Tunay Gençoğlu was born in 1973 in Elazig-Turkey. He graduated from Electrical-Electronics Engineering in 1994. He completed his master's degree in 1997 and his doctorate in 2003. He became a prof in 2007. He works as a full-time professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Fırat University, Faculty of Engineering. At the same time, he has been the Director of Fırat University Civil Aviation School since 2016. His research topics include high voltage technique, faults in power systems, renewable energy sources, lighting technique, use of artificial neural networks in power systems, and pollution bypass in insulators.

Haris M. Khalid (SMIEEE, FHEA, Assistant Professor – Power Systems/Cyber-Attacks, HCT – Sharjah Campuses, UAE, Visiting Professor – University of Santiago, Chile, Visiting Senior Researcher – University of Johannesburg, South Africa) is currently an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Higher Colleges of Technology, Sharjah, UAE since 2016. Since 2022 – Present, he is also a visiting professor with University of Santiago, Chile and visiting senior researcher with University of Johannesburg, South Africa. From 2018 – 2021, he was an active Energy Specialist Consultant to UAE Space Agency and Nano-racks for “tests in orbits” themed projects to space. He has authored/co-authored more than 90 peer-reviewed Research Publications and one Textbook. His research interests include power systems, cyber-physical systems, electric vehicles, signal processing, V2G technology, machine learning and AI, IoT, fault diagnostics, and condition monitoring. From the modern power grids, renewable energy integrations, and cyber-attacks perspective, he has worked on real-time data of New Zealand Trans-Power National Grid. He has also worked with the planning and LDC departments at Oman Electricity Transmission Company (OETC) to investigate the cause of inter-area oscillations within its system. Moreover, he has worked with Ohio State University and its collaboration with FORD MOTORS COMPANY towards lithium-ion battery packs in electric vehicles and their role in renewable energy integration and power grid ancillary services. He has also worked with research groups in Masdar Institute (UAE), Khalifa University (UAE), Curtin University (UAE), Qatar University (UAE), King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KSA), Brest University (France), Lyon University (France), University of Santiago (Chile), Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University (Morocco) towards cyber-physical layers, infrastructures, IoT, machine learning, and cyber-attacks of all the power grid and renewable energy integration applications. Dr. Khalid was a Technical Chair of IEEE-ASET 2018–2022 organized in UAE. Dr. Qalati is currently serving as an Associate Professor in the School of Business, Liaocheng University, China. He did his Ph.D. from Jiangsu University, China in Management Science and Engineering. He is an experienced and motivated associate professor with excellent educational credentials and hands-on experience in activities/event management, education, and research. He is skilled at performing quality control and managing several projects while meeting deadlines under pressure. Dr. Qalati is also a superb facilitator who thrives on using managerial, interpersonal, communication, presentation, and persuasive abilities to conduct training programs and organize high-end professional courses. Dr. Qalati has published over 40 SCI/SSCI publications in the last three years. His work has been published in well reputable and highly cited journals e.g., Journal of Cleaner Production (Q1), Technology in Society (Q1), Managerial and Decision Economics (Q2) and many others as a first author. Among his academic achievements, Dr. Qalati was awarded the Best Thesis award from the School of Management of Jiangsu University based on research publications for 2018, 2019, and 2020. Feipeng Zhao is currently a Mitacs Elevate Postdoc Fellow at Western University (UWO) in Canada. He received the Ph.D. of Materials Engineering from UWO in 2021. Before that, he obtained his Master and Bachelor degrees in Materials Science from Soochow University in China. His current research interest in on synthesis and advanced characterizations of inorganic solid electrolytes for rechargeable batteries. His work has received a citation of 8100 times with an H-index of 50. He also serves as a guest editor of Batteries MDPI (Special issue: “Solid-State Lithium Batteries: From Fundamentals to Commercialization”), and an associate editor of “Frontiers in Materials: Energy Materials”.

Muskan Jindal- a technology and digital adoption enthusiast at heart is an incoming student in the esteemed engineering management program at Duke University, USA. Previously, worked as a Solutions Consultant at Whatfix- facilitating artificial intelligence-derived cognitive digital adoption SaaS software solutions. With an industry experience of two years, she is also an avid & well-published researcher with close to 22 publications. She has completed her graduation with a degree of bachelor in technology with and specialization in computer science, first class. Her research experience includes associations with RBG Labs, the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and the University of Lubeck, Germany. She is a well-published researcher in the domain of computer vision and artificial intelligence with multiple conference papers, a handful of journal papers, and various book chapter publications in SCIE, Scopus, and ESCI journals like Elsevier, Science Direct, IEEE, and Springer. She is also working as an editor and major contributor to a book on smart cities to be published by the scientific journal Bethman Science, USA. Dr Dukhabandhu Sahoo is an Associate Professor of Economics and currently he is the Head of the School of Humanities, Social Sciences and Management (HSS & M), Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bhubaneswar. Dr Sahoo has expertise and specialisation in the field of Economics with 19 years of extensive Research and Teaching experience in Open Macroeconomics, Applied Econometrics, Energy Economics, Industrial Economics, Environmental Economics, Development Economics & Social Sector Economics with Public Policy. He also has specialization in Program Management, Coordination, Research, Consultancy, Market survey, and Data Management (design, collection, analysis, and presentation). Dr. Mounia ACHAK completed his PhD in Chemistry Environment from the University of Cadi Ayyad, Sciences Semlalia Faculty, Marrakesh, Morocco. Currently, she is a Professor of chemistry at National School of Applied Sciences in the University of Chouaib Doukkali, El Jadida and affiliate professor at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University, Chemical & Biochemical Sciences (CBS) Green Process Engineering Ben Guerir. Mounia ACHAK’s work has centered on the various disciplines such solar drying systems, treatment and valorization of industrial wastewater by different processes: coagulation-flocculation, adsorption, infiltration-percolation and phyto-epuration. She published more than 71 reviewed articles in referred journals and in different reviewed proceeding (h-index = 24; i10-index = 44). She has a chapter book in IntechOpen “Constructed wetlands process for treating sewage to improve the quantitative and qualitative management of groundwater resources”. Mounia ACHAK has been ranked the first scientist in Chouaib Doukkali University according to AD Scientist index 2023. She supervised more than 5 PhD and more than 15 undergraduate students. She acts as a reviewer in many JCR journals such as Journal of Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry, Desalination, Journal of Materials Today Chemistry, water and Science of the Total Environment. She is a guest Editor of special issue “Sustainable Waste water Management and treatment” (MDPI). She has participated in 60 national and international congresses. She is a general chair of the first, second and third edition of International Conference on Industrial Systems and Processes (SPIn).

I have over 15 years of research experience. I became a Science Officer in 2006, and Senior Research Officer in 2008 of the Universiti Putra Malaysia. I am currently an associate of Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC) and been involved with the research work activities on behavioural insights (BI), good regulations practices (GRP) and regulations impact analysis (RIA). I completed a PhD in Economics at the University of Portsmouth in 2017 and my contribution was to develop a “system dynamics modelling” for Indian mackerel in Peninsular Malaysia. I hold a MSc in Natural Resource Policy Studies, and Bachelor of Science (Major in Biology) from Universiti Putra Malaysia. Research Interests My core research interest is the governance and management of oceans and coasts in the context of global changes. Gabriel N.D. de Doile was born in São Gabriel RS, Brazil, in 1964. He received the bachelor degree of Electrical Engineer from Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul State UFRGS, in 1998; the specialization degree of Mechanical Engineering from UFRGS, in 2000; the specialization degree of Economic, Regulation and Competition in Public Services from University of Barcelona UB, in 2013; the master degree of Renewable Energies from Federal University of Paraiba State UFPB, in 2021. Currently, he is a PhD candidate in Electrical Engineering at Federal University of Itajuba Unifei, Brazil, and Higher Polytechnic School of Engineering of Vilanova i La Geltrú, Polytechnic University of Catalonia, EPSEVG/UPC, Spain. Mr. Doyle has worked as a teacher in the electricity field and as a planner for the expansion, concession, and regulation of electricity transmission systems. Since January 2007 he has been a Specialist in Regulation of Public Energy Services, a career server at Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency - ANEEL

Marcella Franchi joined Haffner Energy in April 2021.As Chief Marketing Officer, she promotes Haffner’s decarbonization and renewable gas technology which contributes to the roll out the energy transition. Marcella was a key player in the success of Haffner Energy’s IPO in February 2022. Marcella began her career in financial engineering at Warren &Selbert in London, where she stayed for 15 years. Initially in London, but in earnest on return to Portugal, she became a successful entrepreneur, founding and running companies in real estate and holiday rental. Marcella has a degree from the London School of Economics and a postgraduate qualification in Corporate Finance from the London Business School. She has lectured and consulted at universities in Hong Kong and Lisbon. She is on the board of the LBS Energy Club.

HAMIDAH IBRAHIM is currently a professor in the Department of Computer Science at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Malaysia. She received her Ph.D. in Computer Science in 1998 from Cardiff University, UK, with a dissertation entitled Semantic Integrity Constraints Enforcement for a Distributed Database, guided by Prof. Alex Gray. She is a member of IEEE, IEEE Computer Society, and Association Computing Machinery (ACM). Her current research interests include databases (distributed, parallel, mobile, biomedical, XML) focusing on issues related to integrity maintenance/checking, ontology/schema/data integration, ontology/schema/data mapping, cache management, data security, transaction processing, query optimization, query reformulation, preference evaluation – context-aware, information extraction, concurrency control; and data management in mobile, grid, and cloud. She has received several research grants; among others are the Fundamental Research Grant Scheme (Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia), ScienceFund (Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation), and Research University Grant Putra. She has authored more than 300 scientific publications and book chapters. She serves as the editorial board member of several outstanding journals as well as reviewer of several scholarly journals like IEEE Access, Information Sciences, Journal of Supercomputing, etc.

Graduated as an Electrical Engineer in 1981 from the José Antonio Echeverría Higher Polytechnic Institute (today the José Antonio Echeverría Technological University of Havana, CUJAE), in Havana, Cuba, obtained the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences in 1995, at the same institution. He has the category of Assistant Researcher at the Center for Electroenergetic Research and Testing (CIPEL) and Full Professor of the Teaching Department of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at CUJAE. Awarded the Carlos J. Finlay Order in 2020, Forjadores del Futuro Seal in 2018, National Award for Scientific-Technical Criticism in 2017, CITMA Technological Innovation Award in 2016, National Award from the Academy of Sciences of Cuba in 1993 and 2013, from the National Science and Technology Forum in 1994 and the National Award for Scientific-Technical Critics in 2017, has received other national recognitions for the results of its research, among which 5 provincial innovation awards stand out. and an award from the Minister of Basic Industry (1993) and another from the Minister of Higher Education (2014). His fundamental line of work goes through High Voltage and Distributed Generation issues, including Renewable Energy Sources (FRE) in the latter. He is a member of the Scientific Council of the CUJAE, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, CIPEL and the Institute of Meteorology (ISMET), as well as has been part of the Scientific Council of the Energy and Computing Magazine of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the University del Valle and the Scientific Magazine of the National Polytechnic Institute of Mexico. He was a member of the Technical Advisory Council of the former MINBAS (now MINEM) for 12 years.

Rohit Kumar(Member of IEEE) is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IITD), New Delhi, India. He received the B.Tech. degree from IEC College of Engineering & Technology, Greater Noida, India, in 2014, and the M.E degree( Instrumentation and Control) from National Institute of Technical Teachers Training & Research (NITTTR), Chandigarh, India, in 2018, both in electrical engineering. He joined as an Lecturer in Electrical Engineering Department in S.I.T, Meerut, India in 2014 to 2016. He has published over seven research papers in the IEEE Transactions Industry Applications and more than 15+ IEEE conference paper. He has filed one Indian patent. Presently, he serves as a reviewer for IEEE Transactions Industry Applications, IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics etc.. He has received RSTA(Research scholar Travel Award), RETA (Research Excellence Travel Award), DST-SERB-ITS (Department of Science and Technology- Science and Engineering Research Board-International Travel Support) and IEEE student travel grant award from IIT Delhi, goverement of India and IEEE, respectively. He has delivered more than 10+ expert lectures in STC and workshops. His research interests include Power Electronics and Drives, Multi pulse Converter, Multilevel Inverter.

Khalid EL KHALIDI is currently a young teacher-researcher at the Faculty of Sciences in El Jadida, Morocco. His PhD was completed in 2012 on marine geosciences and the environment. Khalid is the author and/or co-author of 24 indexed articles, 1 book and 3 chapters. He is a specialist in marine hydrosedimentary dynamics, marine modelling, coastal hazards and GIS applied to marine and coastal environments. Khalid has been involved in four research projects and he is currently the national coordinator of the CoastWave project and the volunteer national coordinator of the Atlantic Blue Schools Network.

Christopher Koroneos is a chemical engineer. He did all his studies at the Department of Chemical Engineering of Columbia University in New York, USA, where he later was a professor and continues to be associated with the Earth Engineering Center as a Research Associate. Now he is Associate Professor having the chair of Renewable Energy and Energy Management at the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Western Macedonia in Greece. He is also at the Unit of Environmental Science and Technology of the Department of Chemical Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens. He is teaching at the Interdisciplinary Programme of Post Graduate Studies ‘‘Environment & Development’’ of the National Technical University of Athens. His research interests are in Renewable Energy, Exergy Analysis, Life Cycle Assessment and Sustainable Development. He has more than 90 publications in Scientific Journals and more than 220 publications in proceedings of International conferences. He is in the editorial committee of 35 scientific journals, and he has participated in 37 national and international research projects.

Professor at the Federal University of Paraíba, in the Renewable Energy Engineering Department. She was a researcher at the National Institute of the Semiarid (INSA) where she studied chemistry of degraded soils, CO2 flux and its recovery through fertiirrigation. She worked as a postdoc at the Federal University of São Carlos, at Durham University (UK) and at Université Paris-Sud 11- France, studying photocatalytic materials. She is an expert in Energy Law and is studying the construction of the regulatory framework of renewable hydrogen in Brazil and human resources training for the sector.

M. A. Martin-Luengo (MAML) presented with honours Master and phD in the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC, Spain). AsCSIC Postdoctoral Grantee,worked in UK and Belgium.In 1987-1992 was appointedResearch Fellow of the Scientific Engineering Research Council (UK)to developsynthetic fuels. Doğan Çelik received the B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Cukurova University, Adana, Turkey in 2013. Dr. Mahnoosh Shajiee is a Lecturer at Amirkabir University. She is a scientific researcher at ACECR Sharif University.She was a Research Assistant at Ottawa University, Canada.She holds a BS, MS, and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering. She has a DBA degree and has experience in the area of management and futures studies. Her research is on Renewable energy, dynamometer and bioinformatics. She has worked on a novel observer for a wind turbine.She has served as a reviewer on multiple journals, including the ISA Transactions (Elsevier) and the International Journal of Dynamics and Control (Springer). She is the author and co-author of a number of scientific papers in her field and has conducted a number of student research projects.

She published about 52 papers in international journals in the electrical power field, smart systems, AI, 180 articles in Arabic to spread the culture of STI, and more than 45 articles on the technology of future warfare in Defense Arabia. Prof Ghada actively advocates socio-economic development based on RDI within her country and the region. She has worked since 2009 as a volunteer with the Arab Science and Technology Foundation and later joined as a volunteer Manager for Women Programs. For her active participation, she was elected as a member of the Board of Directors (2011) and then the VP of the Foundation (since 2012). Within her involvement with the ASTF, she developed and led more than 20 projects and programs to support scientific development and entrepreneurship. During the past three years (by fundraising), she was able to raise more than $ 2 million, to support research, innovation, and entrepreneurship activities that aim to create jobs and support the Arab community. She helped with ASTF team to establish 142 startups on innovative ideas from the region.

Feras Al Adday is the head of the Academic Quality Department at Kalamoon University, and has extensive management and practical experience. He is also a faculty member and academic researcher, with particular expertise in pavement design, having worked as a researcher at the Laboratory of Soil Mechanics and the Laboratory of Materials Testing. Yhosvany Soler Castillo has a major in electrical engineer awarded by the Higher Polytechnic Institute José Antonio Echevarría, in Havana (1990 - 1995); besides, he holds two diplomate courses, the first in foreign trade at Institute of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, INCOMEX in Havana (2014), and the second one in Photovoltaic Solar Energy at the Photovoltaic Researches Laboratory - Materials Sciences and Technologies Institute (IMRE) - Faculty of Physics of the Havana University (2019). On the other hand, he has got a master´s degree in physics awarded by the faculty of physics of Havana University (2022). Currently, he is working at Aviaimport, S.A, as Specialist in Foreign Trade Sales and Purchase, as well as started from 2020, as autonomous researcher, focused in PV systems energy conversion efficiency, mathematical modeling, Physics , Electrodynamics, Thermodynamics, Optics, Semiconductor Physics, Solid State Physics , Applied Physics and Photonics. In almost three year as reseacher, he has published 2 papers in peer-reviewed journals, and 1 conference proceeding, with 2 additional ones under peer-reviewing process.
