Željana Fredotović completed her postgraduate studies in Biology at the Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb in 2017. She is an assistant professor at the Department of Biology, Faculty of Science, University of Split. She conducts research in the field of biological activity of phytochemicals and phytonutrients, genotoxicity and cytotoxicity invitro, organization and evolution of genome in higher plants: polyploidy, repetitive and mobile DNA sequences, the molecular basis of bacterial resistance to antibiotics, and genetics and molecular phylogeny of invasive species. She is part of the Croatian Science Foundation research project entitled "EcologyofAerobicAnoxygenicPhototrophsinthe Adriatic Sea" (UIP-2019-04-8401).

Elma Vuko completed her post-graduate studies in biology at the Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb in 2012 (doctoral thesis: „Chemical composition and antiviral activity of essential oil and the dominant components of oil of endemic species Micromeria croatica (Pers.) Schott“). She is an associate professor at the Department of Biology, Faculty of Science, University of Split. She conducts research in the field of plant virology and the biological activity of phytochemicals with special emphasis on the phytochemical composition and biological role of volatiles in the composition of essential oils and hydrolates of aromatic plant species. She is part of the Croatian Science Foundation research project entitled "Croatian Veronicaspecies: PhytotaxonomyandBiologicalActivity-CROVeSPhyBA" (IP-2020-02-8425.).

Liang-Jen Wang, MD, MPH, PhD, is an attending physician and professor in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, at Kaohsiung Chang Gung Memorial Hospital. He has published over 200 original research papers. His research interests include child and adolescent psychiatry, neuro-endocrinology, psychiatry epidemiology, and psychopharmacology.

Dr.Mangalagiu has completed her PhD at the University of Suceava (Romania), and postdoctoral studies at the same university. Presently, she is a senior researcher at the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi and a lecturer at the University of Suceava. She has published more than 75 papers in reputed ISI journals, about 15 patents and has been serving as an editorial board member of several journals. She was awarded numerous national and international prizes and honors.
