C.-J. Li received his Ph.D. at McGill University 1992 and was a NSERC Postdoctoral Fellow Stanford University (US). He was an Assistant (1994), Professor (1998) and Full Professor (2000) at Tulane University (US). Since 2003, he has been a Canada Research Chair (Tier I) in Green Chemistry and E. B. Eddy Chair Professor at McGill University. He was a pioneer in using water as a green solvent and a leader in developing Green Chemistry for chemical synthesis. He was listed as a highly cited researcher by Thomson Reuters (2014-2017). He received a US NSF’s CAREER Award (1997), US Presidential Green Chemistry Challenge Award (2001), 2010 Canadian Green Chemistry and Engineering Award, 2015 R. U. Lemieux Award and 2018 Alfred Bader Award of the Canadian Chemical Society, the 2020 Catalysis Award and the 2022 CIC Medal of CIC, the 2021 Alexander von Humboldt Research Award, and the 2018 Killam Research Fellow of the Canadian Council of Arts among others. Dr. Li was elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada (2012), a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (UK) (2007), a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) (2012), Fellow of the Chemical Institute of Canada (2013), Fellow of the American Chemical Society (ACS) (2015), a Fellow of The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) (2016) and a Fellow of the European Academy of Sciences (2020).

Prof. Dr. David N. Bresch, Professor for Weather and Climate Risks at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, ETH Zürich and MeteoSwiss since 2016. 2000-2016, roles at Swiss Re included Head Business Development, Global Head Sustainability, Head Atmospheric Perils Group and Chief modeler for natural catastrophe risk assessment. 1998-1999 Research Associate at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, MIT, Cambridge, USA. Member of the Swiss UNFCCC delegation 2009- 2012 and 2015, member of the Private Sector Advisory Group (PSAG) of the UN Green Climate Fund (GCF), 2014-2016. PhD in physics from ETH Zurich, Switzerland.

HAGIT MESSER received the Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University (TAU), ISRAEL, and after a post-doctoral fellowship at Yale University, she joined the faculty of Engineering at Tel Aviv University in 1986, where she is currently Professor Emerita in the school of Electrical Engineering. Over the years she has held leading positions, including the Chief Scientist at the Ministry of Science, the Vice President for Research at TAU, the President of the Open University, and the Vice Chair of the Council of Higher Education, Israel. She was also co-founder of a startup company ClimaCell (2016). Prof. Messer, Life Fellow of the IEEE, is the recipient of the 2024 IEEE Medal for Environmental and Safety Technologies “For contributions to sensing of the environment using wireless communication networks.” She has published numerous journal and conference papers, and has supervised tens of graduate students. She has been an active volunteer of the IEEE both within the Signal Processing Society various technical activities and in BOG’s committees.

Maria Cano Dominguez is a Register Spanish Architect who completed her Masters in Architecture in 2015. She is actually an Associate Lecturer - Industry Educator at the University of Newcastle, Australia teaching Architecture. Prior to that, she was an Academic at the University of Technology of Sydney, University of Sydney, and University of New South Wales, across different disciplines - architecture and interior architecture - and levels - undergraduate and graduate studies.

Dr. Prof. Zhongsheng Guo, Professor at Northwest A&F University, China. Head of innovation China Agricultural high-quality production Service Group. He put forward the theories of resources utilization limit by plants, vegetation carrying capacity,critical period of regulation of plant resource relations and the new theory of soil and water conservation, which is the theoretical bases for high-quality and sustainable development of forest, grass, soil and water conservation and agriculture.

Dr Woo has a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering, and he has obtained PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M. He majors in energy system such as HVAC and its heat transfer, optimal design and control of refrigerator, reliability design of thermal components, and failure Analysis of thermal components in marketplace using the Non-destructive such as SEM & XRAY. In 1992.03–1997 he worked in Agency for Defense Development, Chinhae, South Korea, where he has researcher in charge of Development of Naval weapon System. He was working as a Senior Reliability Engineer in Refrigerator Division, Digital Appliance, SAMSUNG Electronics. Now he is working as associate professor in mechanical department, Ethiopian Technical University.

Rosalda Punturo Associate professor in the scientific disciplinary sector in Petrology and petrography – currently servingat the Department of Biological, Geological and Environmental Sciences of the University of Catania; PhD Doctorate in "Petrology of Magmatic Associations" - XI Cycle; University of Catania, qualification obtained in March 2000. Degree in Geological Sciences, obtained on 12/15/1994 at the University of Catania with marks of 110/110cum laude.
