Ralph M. Kennel was born in 1955 at Kaiserslautern (Germany). In 1979 he got his diploma degree and in 1984 his Dr.-Ing. (Ph.D.) degree from the University of Kaiserslautern. From 1983 to 1999 he worked on several positions with Robert BOSCH GmbH (Germany). Until 1997 he was responsible for the development of servo drives. Dr. Kennel was one of the main supporters of VECON and SERCOS interface, two multi-company development projects for a microcontroller and a digital interface especially dedicated to servo drives. Furthermore he took actively part in the definition and release of new standards with respect to CE marking for servo drives. Between 1997 and 1999 Dr. Kennel was responsible for "Advanced and Product Development of Fractional Horsepower Motors" in automotive applications. His main activity was preparing the introduction of brushless drive concepts to the automotive market. From 1994 to 1999 Dr. Kennel was appointed Visiting Professor at the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne (England, UK). From 1999 - 2008 he was Professor for Electrical Machines and Drives at Wuppertal University (Germany). Since 2008 until his retirement in 2022 he was Professor for Electrical Drive systems and Power Electronics at Technische Universitaet Muenchen (Germany). His main interests are: Sensorless control of AC drives, predictive control of power electronics and contactless energy transmission. Dr. Kennel is a Senior Member of IEEE, a Fellow of IET (former IEE) and a Chartered Engineer in the UK. Within IEEE he is Treasurer of the Germany Section – furthermore he has been Distinguished Lecturer of the Power Electronics Society (IEEE-PELS) as well as Vice President Meetings of the same society. In 2018 Dr. Kennel received the Doctoral degree honoris causa from Universitatea Stefan cel Mare in Suceava (Romania). Dr. Kennel has received in 2013 the Harry Owen Distinguished Service Award from IEEE- PELS, the EPE Association Distinguished Service Award in 2015 as well as the EPE Outstanding Achievement Award in 2019. Dr. Kennel was appointed “Extraordinary Professor” by the University of Stellenbosch (South Africa) from 2016 to 2019 and as “Visiting Professor” at the Haixi Institute by the Chinese Academy of Sciences from 2016 to 2021. There he was appointed as "Jiaxi Lu Overseas Guest Professor" in 2017. In 2018 Dr. Kennel was appointed Guest Professor at Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), Harbin, China. In 2019 Dr. Kennel was appointed „Honorary Chair Professor“ (" distinguished visiting professor") at Shandong University in Jinan, China.

Alireza Baghai-Wadji is Professor Emeritus at University of Cape Town (UCT), South Africa. He holds M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in telecommunication engineering, and the D.Sc. (Doctor of Science) degree in physical electronics from the Vienna University of Technology, Austria. He has also been honored with the D.Sc. degree in materials science and quantum physics from Aalto University, Finland. Since 2012 he has been with the University of Cape Town. He has served as ECE Program Director, chaired the EE curriculum development, and was Assistant Dean (internationalization) with UCT. He was 2005–2012 Professor, Discipline Head, Senior Member of the Platform Technologies Research Institute, and International Representative with Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University, Australia. He has authored more than 200 peer-reviewed articles in journals and conference proceedings, and delivered more than 120 invited, plenary, and keynote speeches. He is the owner of a patent in the USA. He has instructed 33 half-day or full-day short courses sponsored by IEEE or ACES. He is credited for discovering the Discrete Taylor Transform and Inverse Transform (D-TTIT). He is Honorary Member and Fellow of Electromagnetics Academy, USA, and has been listed in Who-is-Who in Electromagnetics. He is Honorary Professor at Amity University, Noida, India, Adjunct Professor at Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India, and Adjunct Professor at the Taylor’s University, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He is the author of three books: Mathematical Quantum Physics for Engineers and Technologists. Volume 1: Fundamentals (Sci-Tech/IET, July 2023); Mathematical Quantum Physics for Engineers and Technologists. Michael Panagopoulos was born in 1977 in Athens. He holds a degree in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Computer Science of the National Technical University of Athens. He completed his PhD dissertation at the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering of NTUA in the field of application of pattern recognition and image processing methods in archaeology and the arts. In particular, he has worked in the study of the style of prehistoric frescoes of Thera and in the identification of engravers of ancient Athenian inscriptions. She has taught in secondary schools, IEK Kalamaki, NTUA and Ionian University.

Paulo C. Prof. Hanshen Lireceived his B.S.E. degree in Electric Power Engineering and Automation from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), Shanghai, China, in 2016, and the M.E. degree in Information, Production and Systems Engineering from Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan in 2017, and M.E. degree in Electrical Engineering from SJTU in 2019, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering in North China Electric Power University (NCEPU), Beijing, China in 2023. Prof. Li has been a researcher at China Electric Power Planning and Engineering Institute (EPPEI) since 2023. His research interests include planning and operation of active distribution networks, where Li has published 50+papers with over 200 total citations. He has been an editorial board of Journal of Energy Science and Technology since 2023, and also member of IEEE, IEEJ, CSEE and CES.

Dr. Ling Guan is a professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Ryerson University, Toronto, Canada, and a Tier I Canada Research Chair in Multimedia and Computer Technology from 2001 to 2015. He held visiting positions at British Telecom (1994), Tokyo Institute of Technology (1999), Princeton University (2000), National ICT Australia (2007), Nanyang Technological University (2007), Hong Kong Polytechnic University (2008-09), Microsoft Research Asia (2002, 2009, 2017) and Nankai University (2016-17). Dr. Guan has published extensively in multimedia processing and communications, human-centered computing, machine learning, adaptive image and signal processing, and multimedia computing in immersive environment. He is a Fellow of the IEEE, an Elected Member of the Canadian Academy of Engineering, and an IEEE Circuits and System Society Distinguished Lecturer. Dr. Guan has been honored with numerous awards, including the 2014 IEEE Canada C.C. Gotlieb Medal for Achievement in Computer Science and Engineering, the 2005 IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems Best Paper Award and several conference best paper awards..

Dr. K.W. Chew received a PhD in applied physics at the University Malaya in 2003. Currently he is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Univeristi Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), Malaysia. He has more than 10 years of research experiences covering the area of power electronics, electric vehicle related research and lightning and surge protection. He has been actively involved in the research activities as a principal investigator or co-researcher. His research interest including of hybrid energy storage systems, electric vehicle distance estimation system and power electronics converters. Currently, he is actively participated in the research area of lighting and surge protection for potentially hazardous area. Dr. Chew is currently a senior member for IEEE and Chartered Engineer (CEng) for IET. Besides, Dr. Chew also a certified Huawei trainer on Data Center Facilities (DCF).

FAZEL Ziraksaz received the B.S.E.E degree from west branch of Azad University, Tehran, Iran, in 2016, and M.S.E.E degree from Tarbiat Modares University, Tehran, Iran, in 2019. He ranked 1th among Electrical undergraduate students of Electronics Engineering of west branch of Azad University with GPA: 19.25/20. From 2015 to 2017, he was a member of Young researchers and Elite Club. He has been a member of Iranian Microelectronics Association since 2019. Now, he is currently Ph.D. candidate at Shahid Beheshti University, Tehran, Iran with GPA: 19.13/20. He is the author of the book “Fundamentals of Low Voltage, Low Power Integrated Circuit Design”. Now, he is writing a book about power amplifier design. He is the section editor of Insight-Energy Science journal and the reviewer of Journal of Electronics and Electrical Engineering (JEEE) and American Journal of Electrical and Computer Engineering (AJECE). His research interests include RF circuits, and CMOS Integrated Circuits (ICs), and he recently studies power amplifiers (PAs) and modulators.

Philip W. T. Pong received a B.Eng. from the University of Hong Kong (HKU) in 2002 with 1st class honors. Then he obtained a PhD in engineering at the University of Cambridge in 2005. He was a postdoctoral researcher at the Magnetic Materials Group at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) for three years. Currently he is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT).His research interest focuses on the fault detection, predictive maintenance, and anomaly detection of power grid. He is the Founding Director of the Green Technology Research and Training Laboratory, leading the research and education activities of offshore wind energy at NJIT. Philip Pong is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (FIET), a Fellow of the Institute of Physics (FInstP), a Fellow of the Energy Institute (FEI), a Fellow of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (FIMMM), a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (FHKIE), a Fellow of the NANOSMAT Society (FNS), a chartered physicist (CPhys), a chartered engineer (CEng), a chartered energy engineer, a registered professional engineer (R.P.E. in Electrical, Electronics, Energy), and a Senior Member of IEEE (SMIEEE). He serves on the editorial boards for several IEEE and SCI journals.

Chonlatee Photong had been a development engineer at Sony Device Technology (Thailand) Co., Ltd., Prathum Thani, for 3 years (2002-2004) and a maintenance engineer at Seagate Technology (Thailand), Nakorn Ratchasima, for 2 years (2005-2006). He received his master’s degree of Power Electronics and Drives in 2007 and his doctoral degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering in 2013 from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom. After his doctoral graduation, he has started working as a lecturer in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Mahasarakham University ,Thailand, and experienced working as an editor-in-chief of Mahasarakham International Journal of Engineering Technology and Engineering Access since 2014, a co-editor-in-chief of Community University Engagement Journal since 2022. He had been an assistant to the President for Public Relation and International Affairs at MahasarakhamUniversity during 2015-2018. He is currently the Deputy Dean for Administration, Graduate School, Mahasarakham University. He is currently the head of the Electric Automotive and Energy Technology Research Unit.His research expertise is power electronics for renewable energy and electric motor drives. He has more than 60 published research works, 15 research funds and several awards covering the innovation and research studies on a current source inverter for solar and renewable energy conversion and generation, as well as, motor control, drives and applications. He is a senior member of the IEEE PES & IES-Thailand Section.

Dr. Sepideh Akhbarifar is a versatile physicist and materials scientist, specializing in thermoelectric phenomena in bulk oxide ceramics, metal-insulator transitions, and their underlying quantum physical processes, with expertise in materials synthesis, multiscale materials characterization, and data analysis of ceramics. Currently a research scientist at the Vitreous State Laboratory/Physics Department of The Catholic University of America, and an adjunct professor in the School of Engineering. Holding a Ph.D. in physics and dual master's degrees in nuclear environmental protection andchemical engineering, Sepideh's research focuses on environmental protection,including energy efficiency, reduction of CO2 emissions, and clean air, which brings a strong multidisciplinary background to her work.Her research interest spans semiconductor materials, low CO2-emitting cement (geopolymers) for construction and radioactive waste immobilization, and high-efficiency dust removal from the air. Sepideh holds two patents and has been widely published, including a book chapter. She was honored as the 'Young Women Inventor 2010' by the National Elites Foundation in Iran. Her passion for science outreach has led her to give over 30 international presentations, including Keynotes and invited talks. Sepideh demonstrates leadership through organizing scientific symposia and involvement in different societies, such as chairingsections at ACeRS, serving as a reviewer in various journals, and as a judge in competitions. She has also served as a Guest Editor for the theme issue "Innovation in Thermoelectric Materials: From Fundamental Physics to Practical Applications" in MRS Bulletin and for the special issue "Heat Transfer in Thermoelectric Modules" in the Entropy journal, MDPI, highlighting her dedication to advancing the field of materials science and physics. Sepideh's commitment to environmental sustainability and her interdisciplinary mindset drive her to collaborate with researchers and industry experts to develop impactful solutions for real-world challenges. By driving advancements in clean energy technologies, waste heat utilization, and sustainable materials, she aims to make a meaningful contribution to academia, industry, and the global pursuit of a sustainable future.

Adam Wong Yoon Khang received his Ph.D. Degree from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2018. He is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Fakulti Teknologi Kejuruteraan Elektrikdan Elektronik, Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM). He is also a Professional Technologist for the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT). Before joining the academia, he served various companies from 2007 until 2011 as a commercial engineer in industries ranging from manufacturing to service providers. His current research interests are the Internet of Things, Hybrid Optical Wireless, simulation optimization, ad hoc network and passive optical network but not limited to the mentioned topic here. He actively publishes research articles and received grants from the government and private sectors, universities and international collaboration.

Yun Yang received Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Hong Kong in 2017. During his graduate studies, he worked on the control of power electronics and their applications in microgrids. From 2017 to 2020, he worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the same research group on wireless power transfer. He was appointed as an Honorary Research Assistant Professor by the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, The University of Hong Kong in 2020. From 2020 to 2022, he worked as a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He is now an Assistant Professor in the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University. Dr. Yang has been working in the field of wireless power transfer, power electronics, advanced control, renewable energy technologies, and electric vehicles. He has achieved 70+ publications, including 5 patents, 35+ SCI journal papers, and 35+ international conference papers.

Dr. Noor Afiza Mohd Ariffin received her Masters degree in Computer Science (Software Engineering)from University Putra Malaysia and Ph.D. in security computing also from University Putra Malaysia in 2012 and 2017 respectively. She previously worked in the industry sector for 3 years. She is currently a senior lecturer in Universiti Putra Malaysia(UPM). She has 11 years experiences in research and teaching at the private and government university and published more than 40 academic publications in International journal and International conference proceedings. Her specialties are in security computing, access control and authentication.

Yahia CHERGUI is an assistant Professor in Electrical & Electronics Engineering Institute, Boumerdes Algeria. He has completed his PhD from Badji Mokhtar University in Annaba, Algeria. He did all his PhD work in Cardiff University in UK. His research field is Physics(condensed matter, and soft matter simulation by molecular dynamics). He has many published articles and international conferences. He has been serving as a referee with condensed matter journal (IOP), Energy journal (Elsevier), and American Journal of Modern Physics.

Dr Woo has a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering, and he has obtained PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M. He majors in energy system such as HVAC and its heat transfer, optimal design and control of refrigerator, reliability design of thermal components, and failure Analysis of thermal components in marketplace using the Non-destructive such as SEM & XRAY. In 1992.03–1997 he worked in Agency for Defense Development, Chinhae, South Korea, where he has researcher in charge of Development of Naval weapon System. He was working as a Senior Reliability Engineer in Refrigerator Division, Digital Appliance, SAMSUNG Electronics. Now he is working as associate professor in mechanical department, Ethiopian Technical University.

Dr Mahmoud I. Masoud (BSc, MSc, PhD, SMIEEE, MIET, SFHEA) was born in Alexandria, Egypt, in 1974. He received the BSc (top of the class with honours) and MSc degrees from the Faculty of Engineering, Alexandria University, Alexandria, Egypt, in 1996 and 1999, respectively, and the PhD from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, UK, in 2003. From 2003 to 2007, he was a Lecturer in the Electrical Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, Alexandria University. From February 2007 to August 2009, he was a Research Fellow in the Power Electronics and Energy Conversion Group, Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department, Strathclyde University, Glasgow, U.K. He was promoted to Associate Professor in June 2009 and full Professor in June 2016 with the Electrical Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, Alexandria University. From 2012 to 2020, he was with the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Sultan Qaboos University, Muscat, Oman. In 2020, Dr Masoud joined the EEE department at the University of Sheffield, UK (Teaching track). He was awarded the best teacher in 2020 and highly commended for teaching practice in 2023. He was recognised as a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, UK, in 2023. His research interests include renewable energy systems, power electronics applications, multiphase machines, and electrical machine drives. He was awarded the best paper at the EDUCON'17 conference Regarding infrastructure and best technologies in engineering education. So far, He has more than 80 publications with an h-index of 16 for more than 1150 citations.

I am Ubada El Joulani a new PhD student in Computer Systems Engineering at Brunel University London. My research is regarding formulation of minimal dataset for weed detection in agricultural fields. This includes analyzing the impact of dataset size on model performance by studying how the data features (in this case the weeds features) are influencing the performance of the model. Shunli Wang is a professor and doctoral supervisor, who is an authoritative expert in new energy research. His research interests include modeling, state estimation, and safety management for energy storage systems. As the head of NELab and the new energy measurement & control research team, he closely focuses on the construction of control science and engineering disciplines, conducting the new energy measurement and control research with the collaborative battery state estimation. He has carried out the exploration and industrialization application of life cycle state measurement and control theory. 56 projects have been undertaken, including the projects from the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Provincial Science and Technology Department. 173 research papers have been published (Research Interest Score: 9455; Citations: 1624; h-index: 21). 53 intellectual property rights have been applied, of which 23 authorizations have been approved. 7 books have been published by famous publishers such as Elsevier and IET. The team is taken as an academician workstation team and a military-civilian integration innovation team. With close exchanges and cooperation in the field, the international book "Battery System Modeling" is published by the world-famous publisher "Renewable Energy ELSEVIER". He served on the editorial board of international journals and conferences. The publication of "New Energy Technology and Power Management" has been printed for 3800 copies and received high praise. He has guided students to carry out more than 29 scientific and technological innovation projects. 23 honorary titles or awards have been achieved, such as young scholars and leading experts of innovative talent teams. Also, the team has been continuously supported by the "University & Enterprise Innovative Talent Team Support Plan" and unanimously praised by employers and peer experts. Based on the deep integration of industry, academia, and research, the NELab team have served as the Chief Scientist of Liwang New Energy, Chief Engineer of Changhong Runtian Energy, Chief Engineer of Xinzhi Green Energy, and Technical Advisor of Yingjie Electric Energy Storage System. In collaboration with the University of Science and Technology of China, Robert Gordon University, Aalborg University, and collaborated with units such as the Chinese Academy of Sciences, China Power Group, ZTE Energy, and Changhong Power to form a new technology system for condition monitoring and control system architecture, Achieved the development and industrial application of more than 30 varieties of battery measurement and control equipment in 6 major series, presided over 3 achievement evaluations, and released 3 standards. The relevant research results have been used in multiple units, cultivating a large number of high-level outstanding talents, driving the development of the upstream and downstream industrial chain in the energy storage field, and achieving significant social and economic benefits.

Dr. Eriki Ananda Kumar received PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the VELs University, India. Currently working as Professor and Dean R&D at the MJR College of Engineering and Technology-Piler, India. Prior to this, worked as Associate Professor at FTVETI University-Ethiopia and Faculty in Mechanical Engineering at Caledonian College of Engineering Muscat-OMAN, Senior Lecturer at Nilai University, Malaysia, Lecturer at SEGi University, Malaysia, and Instructional Writer/Instructor in TOC-Malaysia. He has authored over 40 publications and 3 Patents (Australia-India)/Book chapter Publications (London-India) till date. He has secured (as PI and Co-PI) several research grants from DST, SERB India. Eriki is an Advisory Board member of International Institute of Engineers and Researchers, and member of Editorial Board of International Journal of Material Science and Applications, Frontiers in Energy: Oil, Gas and Coal Engineering, Frontiers in Mechanical Engineering: Computational and Manufacturing Research Communications, Penerbit AB. He is a member of Associate Editors in Journal of Advances in Material, Technical Research and Applications and International Institute of Science Engineering & Management, Iranian Journal of Science and Technology Eriki is an executive member of Institute of Engineers Malaysia, International Association of Engineers and He is a member of All India Council for Technical Skill Development of India. He is also a reviewer of reputed journals associated with material and manufacturing.

Masoud Hoseinazade received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering in the field of communications from Malek Asther and K.N. Toosi University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, 2006 and 2009, respectively. After some lecturing in the department of electrical engineering at the Damavand branch of Islamic Azad University, he received his Ph.D. degree in telecommunication systems from Babol Noshirvani University of Technology, Babol, Iran. Currently, He is a lecturer and senior researcher in the radar and sonar laboratory in the department of electrical and computer engineering, Babol Noshirvani university of technology. He has published several papers in national journals and conferences. he works in industrial activities such as the design and construction of wideband transceivers, radar and communication signal analyzers, and automatic modulation recognition. His current research interests include MIMO radar, resource allocation of cellular networks, cognitive radio networks, sensor networks, optimization, and signal processing.
