Dr. Rafiqul Noorani is Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California, USA. He received his M.Eng. and Ph.D. from Texas A&M University. He taught engineering at Texas A&M, the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Gonzaga University before coming to Loyola Marymount University in 1989. His teaching and research interests are in areas of Additive Manufacturing (AM), CAD/CAM, and Robotics. He has received over 35 grants totaling over $2 million including six grants from National Science Foundation (NSF). He has published two textbooks on Rapid Prototyping and 3D Printing. He is a Fellow of ASME and member of ASME and ASEE.

Robert joins Markets & Markets to head up the European & ROW Chemicals, Materials & Food business  Robert is a Chemical graduate by background and spent 5 years in the laboratory making specialty chemical before changing tack and entering the consulting arena. Robert has over 20 years consulting experience in the chemicals sector across a broad portfolio of products, working with all the leading chemical and materials companies in the sector.  Robert started his consulting career at Frost & Sullivan where he pioneered the first major market reports on various growth sectors. He worked his way up from a junior analyst, writing multiple reports on plastics and bio-based materials before heading up the research and consulting team. His activities in the materials space include helping large national oil companies assess the chemical and materials market and develop their long term strategy including their sustainability strategy. Robert then moved to Business Research Group, heading up the IAL Polyurethane and IRL Paints & Coatings brands. During this time he helped the company move from paper publishing to a database led approach and develop the company's consulting business. Again he worked with all the leading PU and Coatings companies in an advisory capacity. Robert returned to Frost & Sullivan to take a more senior role as Vice President of Consulting Europe for Chemicals & materials. During this time he was engaged with multiple materials companies. Topics covered include: New material strategic sourcing Materials technology scouting Lightweighting Robert has helped multiple big name chemical companies with TAM expansions and new market entry opportunities including go to market strategy. He has also led tech scouting projects (including decarbonisation tech strategy) and M&A scouting and due diligence.

Prof. Mauro Comes Franchini, a distinguished figure in organic chemistry, was awarded the 2017 Prize for Scientific Research in “Organic Chemistry for Nanoscience” by the Società Chimica Italiana. He is currently a Full Professor of Material Organic Chemistry at the University of Bologna's Department of Industrial Chemistry “Toso Montanari.” Prof. Mauro Comes Franchini earned his degree in Industrial Chemistry in 1993 and completed his Ph.D. in Chemical Science at the University of Bologna by 1996. His international experience includes research stints at the University of Nijmegen in the Netherlands and Oxford University's Dyson Perrins Laboratory in the UK. His academic career began with a CNR fellowship in 1997, followed by a research position at Bologna’s Department of Organic Chemistry in 1998. He was promoted to Associate Professor in 2014 and became a Full Professor in 2021. Prof. Mauro Comes Franchini serves on several editorial boards, RSC Advances (Royal Society of Chemistry), and the International Journal of Nanomedicine (Dove Press). With a Scopus ID of 6603855935 and an ORCID-ID of 0000-0001-5765-7263, he has authored 143 articles in international journals, holds twenty patents, and has contributed to seven book chapters. His research spans additive manufacturing and nanoscience, focusing on developing new organic materials for applications in electronics and nanomedicine. He explores innovative processing techniques, including 3D printing with modified natural biomaterials and bio-ink formulations for tissue engineering. His work in nanomedicine involves functionalizing nanoparticles with organic molecules for drug delivery and theranostic applications against cancer and neurological disorders, emphasizing imaging, drug delivery, and photothermal ablation.

Paulo C. DE MORAIS, PhD, was full Professor of Physics at the University of Brasilia (UnB) – Brazil up to 2013, Appointed as UnB’s Emeritus Professor (2014), Appointed as Guest Professor of Huazhong University of Science and Technology – China (2011), Visiting Professor at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) – China (2012-2015), Appointed as Distinguished Professor at Anhui University (AHU) – China (2016-2019), Appointed as Full Professor at Catholic University of Brasília (UCB) – Brazil (2018), Appointed as CNPq-1A Research Fellowship since 2010. 2007 Master Research Prize from UnB, 2008-member of the European ERA NET Nanoscience Committee, Member of the IEEE-Magnetic Society Technical Committee, Senior Member of the IEEE Society, 2012 China’s 1000 Foreign Expert Recipient, and 2012 Academic Excellence Award from Brazilian Professor’s Union. He held two-years (1987-1988) post-doc position with Bell Communications Research – New Jersey, USA and received his Doctoral degree in Solid State Physics (1986) from the Federal University of Minas Gerais – Brazil. He graduated in both Chemistry (1976) and Physics (1977) at UnB. Professor Morais is member of the Brazilian Physical Society and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers – IEEE. He has served as referee for more than 50 technical journals, takes part of the Editorial Board of more than 15 technical journals and has conducted research on nanomaterials for over 40 years. He has delivered more than 150 Invited Talks all over the World. He is known for his research in preparation, characterization and applications of nanosized materials (magnetic fluid, magnetoliposome, magnetic nanoemulsion, magnetic nanocapsule, magnetic nanofilm, magnetic nanocomposite, nanosized semiconductors, polymeric dots, carbon dots, and graphene quantum dots). With nearly 500 published papers in peer reviewed journals, more than 12,000 citations and 15 patents, he has appeared in recent World ranking of top 1% scientists, such as 2020-Stanford, 2022-Research.com, and 2023-AD Scientific Index.

Hong-Bo Sun, received the B.S. and the Ph. D degrees in electronics from Jilin University, Changchun, China, in 1992 and 1996, respectively. He worked as a postdoctoral researcher in Satellite Venture Business Laboratory, the University of Tokushima, Japan, from 1996 to 2000, and then as an assistant professor in Department of Applied Physics, Osaka University, Japan. In 2004, he was promoted as a full professor (Changjiang Scholar) in Jilin University, and since 2017 he has been working in Tsinghua University, China. His research interests have been focused on laser precision manufacturing. He has published over 500 papers, which have been cited for over 30000 times, and H factor is 90, according to ISI search report. He is currently the executive editor-in-chief (EEIC) of Light: Science and Applications and co-editor-in-chief of PhotoniX (Both from Nature Publishing Group). He is IEEE, OSA and SPIE fellow.

Liangchi Zhang Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering, is a chair professor at the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech), Director of the Shenzhen Key Laboratory of Cross-scale Manufacturing Mechanics, and Director of the SUSTech Institute for Manufacturing Innovation. He holds a BSc and MEng from Zhejiang University, a PhD from Peking University and a Higher Doctorate, Doctor of Engineering, from the University of Sydney. He has worked at Zhejiang University in China, Cambridge University in the UK, National Laboratory of Mechanical Engineering in Japan, University of Sydney and University of New South Wales in Australia. His research is in the area of advanced manufacturing, emphasizing both basic research and industrial applications. His work has led to significant technological and economic impacts. Liangchi is a highly cited scholar, has been granted many awards and honors globally, and is an author of seven monographs, more than 650 SCI journal papers, and an inventor of many new technologies.

Yao received his Ph.D. from U.C. Berkeley in 1974. He worked at Argonne National Lab for 3 years before joining Carnegie Mellon University in 1977. He also served as the Pao Yu Kang Chaired professor at the Zhe Jiang University in China since 2010 for twice of three-year terms. Prof. Yao has conducted research of multi-phase systems over 30 years. He performed research on boiling, spray, and cooling of electronics. Recently he has focused on MEMS micro thermal systems and modeling of additive manufacturing of metal products. Dr. Yao is a LIFE FELLOW of the ASME and served as the chairman of Fire and Combustion Committee and the Long-Range Planning Committee previously. He has organized various national and international conferences. He also served twice as the interim Head of the Mechanical Engineering Dept. at CMU.

Joon Myong Song received his Ph.D. in 1997 at Kyushu University in Japan. He worked as research associate at Brookhaven National Laboratory and Oak Ridge National Laboratory in United States. From 2005, he is professor in College of Pharmacy at Seoul National University in South Korea. His research area includes fabrication of 3D bioprinting-based tissue for drug efficacy and toxicity, synthesis of multifunctional nanomaterials for drug delivery and therapy, and transparent tumor imaging. He has published 140 papers in peer reviewed journals, 12 book chapters, and 35 international and domestic patents. He is an associate editor of Nano Convergence, and an editorial board member of Chemosensors. Currently, he is president of Korean Biochip Society. He is director of anticancer immune cell research center at Seoul National University from 2023 to 2030.

Daniel Nieto is an Assistant Professor of MERL Institute, the complex tissue regeneration division of the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences at Maastricht University. He received his M.Sc in Experimental Physics by the National University of Ireland and PhD degree in Photonics and Laser Technologies by the University of Santiago de Compostela. He had his postdoctoral fellowship periods at the Harvard Medical School MIT's Division of Health Science and Technology and the Institute of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Oxford. He has been a senior researcher at the National University of Ireland for developing an “Advance bioprinting manufacturing pilot line for Biomedical applications” He has been contributed more than 50 publications in scientific journals and 60 conference sproceedings/abstract. Along with his academic career, he had founded two start up companies, named 3Dbiolux and Healthiolux which develops customized 3D bioprinting systems for tissue engineering applications and regenerative medicine.

Dr. Zhang Baicheng is an Associate Professor at the Institute for Advanced Materials and Technology, University Science and Technology Beijing, China. His research interests focus on, additive manufacturing, materials research. He received his Ph.D. degree at Université de technologie de Belfort Montbéliard, France in 2013. He got his Bachelor degree from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Xian Jiaotong University in 2007. Before joining USTB, Prof. Zhang was a postdoctoral fellow at LERMPS France from 2013-2014, worked as a Research Fellow in Simtech, Singapore from 2014 to 2017. He has published over 60 papers in refereed journals including Acta, Add. Manu., MSEA, Mater. &Des. He serves as an Editorial Board Member of IJMMM and journal Materials Today Communications.
