Thomas J. Webster’s (H index: 120; Google Scholar) degrees are in chemical engineering from the University of Pittsburgh (B.S., 1995; USA) and in biomedical engineering from RPI (Ph.D., 2000; USA). He has served as a professor at Purdue (2000-2005), Brown (2005-2012), and Northeastern (2012-2021; serving as Chemical Engineering Department Chair from 2012 - 2019) Universities and has formed over a dozen companies who have numerous FDA approved medical products currently improving human health. He is currently helping those companies and serves as a professor at Brown University, Saveetha University, Vellore Institute of Technology, UFPI, and others. Dr. Webster has numerous awards including: 2020, World Top 2% Scientist by Citations (PLOS); 2020, SCOPUS Highly Cited Research (Top 1% Materials Science and Mixed Fields); 2021, Clarivate Top 0.1% Most Influential Researchers (Pharmacology and Toxicology); 2022, Best Materials Science Scientist by Citations (Research.com); and is a fellow of over 8 societies.Prof. Webster is a former President of the U.S. Society For Biomaterials and has over 1,350 publications to his credit with over 53,000 citations. He was recently nominated for the Nobel Prize in Chemistry (2023, pending).

Nicolas G. Bazan is the founding Director of the Neuroscience Center of Excellence at LSU Health New Orleans, the inaugural founder of the Ernest C. and Yvette C. Villere Chair for Research in Retinal Degeneration, and has been appointed to the highest academic rank in the LSU System—Boyd Professor. He is also a Foreign Adjunct Professor of Neuroscience at the Karolinska Institutet,Sweden. “A true Renaissance man,” Dr. Bazan is an innovative scientist, effective mentor, community leader, creative author, arts patron, entrepreneur, and transformative influencer in implementing a knowledge-based local economy. He has served on advisory committees for NIH and study sections, Senate founding member (2009-) of the German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases (DZNE) program in der Helmholtz-Gemeinschaft, Germany.He is also author of Una Vida: A Fable of Music and the Mind (Screenplay Co-writer and Executive Producer of feature film Of Mind and Music) and The Dark Madonna: A Fable of Resiliency and Imagination – novels exploring his lifelong intellectual quest to understand the deep beauty and complexity of brain function and the human experience. At the same time, he aims to remove the stigma surrounding Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.

Dr. Cristine Alves da Costa obtained a doctorate (PhD)in Toxicologyfrom the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of São Paulo, USP, Brazil in 1997. Actually, Dr.Alves da Costa is a research director at INSERM and drives a team at the “Institute of Pharmacology Moléculaire et Cellulaire” (IPMC-CNRS). Her research interests include neurodegenerative diseases and brain tumors. Dr. Alves da Costa is currently is editor-in chief of Parkinson’s disease and editorial board member of Oncogene, Cells and Current Neuropharmacology. She has published more than 78 articles that gather a high citation rate. These metrics illustrate the excellence of her work and recognition of her expertise in the field.

Jose Luis Gomez Ariza is a full professor of Analytical Chemistry and Director of the Research Center for Natural Resources Health and the Environment of the University of Huelva (Spain). Member of the Spanish Society for Analytical Chemistry (SEQA), the Spanish Royal Society of Chemistry (RSEQ), the Royal Society of Chemistry, the American Chemical Society and American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. He is also a member of the Academy of Sciences, Arts and Letters of Huelva. In 2003 received the Andalusia Research Award and the Huelva Industry Excellence Award. In 2018 he received the Research Award from Faculty of Chemistry of Huelva University and in 2022 the Gold medal of Huelva University and the Magister award from the Higher Technical School of Engineers of the University of Huelva for his teaching and research career. His research interests focus on the study of new analytical approaches to characterize metalloproteins and other metal and non-metal-containing biomolecules using multidimensional analytical approaches (metallomics) and the combination with other omics such as metabolomics, proteomics, and transcriptomics, with the purpose to study the environment action on aging as well as neurodegenerative diseases, especially Alzheimer. He is the author or co-author of over 300 scientific publications, several books, and holds several patents. Over 35 students have received doctorates under his direction; many others have received M.S. degrees, and scores of undergraduates and visiting scientists have performed research in his laboratory. He was president of Speciation Group of SEQA and the Andalusia Group of the Spanish Society for Analytical Chemistry (GRASEQA). At present, he is a member of the advisory board of the journal METALLOMICS (RSC) and co-editor of Current Alzheimer Research (CAR).

Emilio Sacristan, PhD, is a respected Mexican researcher, inventorand entrepreneur in the field of medical technology. He is currently Professor of Electrical and Biomedical Engineering, Director and Founder of the National Center for Medical Instrumentation and Imaging Research, CI3M, at the UAM-Iztapalapa, Mexico City, and Chief Science Officer of Vacere Medical, a med-tech startup based in Northeast Ohio. He is also co-inventor of the Magnetic Stimulator of the Facial Nerve. He has broad experience in innovation and technology transfer in healthcare. He has co-founded and served as Director and CEO or CSO of 10 medical technology startups in the USA, Mexico and Germany, and is author of more than 90 peer reviewed publications and 44 International patent applications.

Dr Ishank Goel works as a Consultant Neurologist at Fortis Hospital, Mohali, Punjab, India. He did his MD, DNB from Wardha and completed DM in Neurology from Jaipur. He headed the epilepsy clinic at Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Hospital with over a thousand patients being enrolled in the clinic each year. He is an expert in the treatment of epilepsy, headache, stroke, Parkinson’s disease, neuromuscular disorders, and various types of dementia (Alzheimer’s disease, Vascular dementia) and is exclusively trained in EEGs. He gained experience in Paediatric Neurology from Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Government Hospital, Mumbai. He is a published author in various national and international journals.

Hassan Doumiati,MD, is a Neurologistand Neuroelectrophysiologistat AUBMC. He received his Medical Degree from the Lebanese University in 2009, and then he joined the American University of Beirut. There, he completed a residency in Internal Medicine (graduated in 2013),followed by a second residency in Neurology (graduated in 2017).Following his passion, he then specialized in Clinical Electrophysiology (graduated in 2018) at AUBMC. After graduation,he worked at Makassed Hospital for 3 years and was the program director of Internal Medicine at Beirut Arab University .In 2021 ,he came back to AUBMC as a clinical instructor of Neurology. During his stay at AUBMC, Dr.Doumiati filled numerous leadership positions, such as Medical Chief Resident in Internal Medicine in 2013 and Neurology Chief Resident in 2016.He received the Salim El-Hoss Bioethics and Professionalism Program (SHBPP)award for humanism and professionalism at the American University of Beirut Faculty of Medicine (AUB FM) in 2016. Dr Doumiati’s interests include teaching and research. His research interests include neuromuscular disorders and multiple sclerosis. He also has numerous publications in esteeme dpeer reviewed journals.

Dr. Rocío Llamas-Ramos is working as an Associate Professor at the University of Salamanca and as a physiotherapist in FREMAP Salamanca. She completed her PhD from the University of Alcalá, Alcalá de Henares, Madrid, Spain. She has published several articles in reputed international journals and she collabarates as a reviewer/editorial board member of several journals. Research interests are: musculoskeletal diseases, pain, rehabilitation, physiotherapy treatments, neurology, health care..

“Dr.Barma Mukunda Scientist is currently working as Neurophysician at the NIZAMS INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES. Dr Scientist received his Doctoral degree on April 2016from theNTR HEALTH UNIVERSITY . Dr.Mukunda completed his Masters from the NIZAMS INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES. He then worked at the Institute NIZAMS INSTITUTE , served as Assistant Professor . Dr. Mukunda has authored several publications in various journals and books. His publications reflect his research interests in Neuroimmunology.

Noa Rachmian is a PhD candidate at the Weizmann Institute of Science studying senescent microglia, the brain's resident immune cells, in Alzheimer's disease. They investigate how TREM2 activation promotes senescent microglia accumulation and their role in the progression of Alzheimer's disease. Using advanced methodologies and multidisciplinary approaches, Rachmian intends to gain insights into the complex mechanisms underlying age-related neurodegeneration

Ivan V. Maksimovich, MD, PhD, professor, Academician of the Russian Academy of Medical and Technical Sciences, is a member of the Russian Association of Cardiovascular Surgeons, the Russian Scientific Society of Specialists in Endovascular Diagnosis and Treatment, the Russian Scientific Society of Interventional Radiologists and Endovascular Surgeons, the Alzheimer's Association International Society for Advance Alzheimer's Research and Treatment (ISTAART), European Society of Cardiology (ESC), European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions (EAPCI), World Stroke Organization (WSO), European Stroke Organization (ESO) and European Psychiatric Association (EPA). Ivan V. Maksimovich graduated from I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University in 1979 specializing in cardiovascular surgery. After the graduation, he worked in leading research institutes and clinics of the country. Since 1993, Dr. Maksimovich has been the head of the Clinic of Cardiovascular Diseases named after Most Holy John Tobolsky in Moscow (carvasc@yandex.ru). In 2004, Dr. Maksimovich earned his doctorate in medicine. His thesis was entitled "Transluminal Laser Angioplasty in the Treatment of Ischemic Brain Lesions". He is the author of more than 300 scientific papers on transcatheter treatment of vascular diseases. The main direction of his work and research is the treatment of vascular diseases of the brain, stroke, dementia, Alzheimer's disease, and Binswanger's Disease.
