Dr. Nourredine Boubekri is currently a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at The University of North Texas. He received his Ph.D. in Industrial and Management Systems Engineering. He received both his Master and Bachelor of Science degrees in Manufacturing Engineering. His career started at the University of Miami. There he founded the University of Miami Industrial Assessment Center in the year 2000, which is currently still funded by DOE. He also founded and is directing the University of North Texas Industrial Assessment Center funded by DOE in 2022. His experience includes his roles as Department chair /Director of Research and Innovation. He directed more than sixty Master and Ph.D. Students and published more than 100 technical articles and journal papers. He has made guest presentations at international conferences in the areas of Sustainable Manufacturing, New Product/Process Development, Project and Quality Management, and Smart Manufacturing. His research funding exceeds seven million dollars in grants and contracts. Dr. Boubekri has collaborated with more than 150 companies spanning various industries in the areas of energy efficiency, productivity, and waste management.

Dr. Zongjin LIis Chair professorat MacauUniversity of Science and Technology. He received his B.E. from Zhejiang University in 1982 and obtained both his M.S. and PhD from Northwestern University, Chicago, in 1990 and 1993, respectively. He is honorary member and a fellowof American Concrete Institute,Chair of China Group of RILEM and Founding President of ACI China Chapter. As the chief scientist, he has led a China Key National Basic Research Project (973), ‘Basic study on environmentally friendly contemporary concrete’ that promoted the concrete research in China to a world-class level.He also founded the Gordon Research Conference, ‘Advanced Materials for Sustainable Infrastructure Development’ in 2014. He is pioneer in noncontact resistivity/impedance measurement for cement-based materials and lead the research activities in this area for about 20 years. He also developed cement-based piezoelectric and opened a new direction for civil engineering. The methodology he developed to utilizing the in-situ polymerization of monomer during cement hydration process has shown a strong effect in enhancing flexural strength of cement-based composite. He has published 5 technical books, in which ‘Advanced Concrete Technology’ published by John Wiley has been collected by many national libraries and major university libraries and used by many universities as text or reference books for civil engineering. He has also published more than 400 technical papers with a Google Scholar citation of 26756and H-index of 89. He has also been awarded eight US and twenty Chinese patents. Three of his patents have been developed into commercial products. He received the Arthur R. Anderson Medal from American Concrete Institute in 2017 and Distinguished Visiting Fellowship Award from British Royal Academy of Engineering in 2014.

Professor Arul Arulrajah leads the Geotechnical Engineering group at Swinburne University of Technology. He has been involved as a Chief Investigator in 40 research projects totalling AUD$15 Million, which includes 7 Australian Research Council (ARC) Linkage Projects grants, 1 ARC Industrial Training Centre, 3 ARC Linkage Infrastructure Equipment grants, 15 competitive state government grants, 6 industry grants and 2 international grants. Professor Arulrajah is involved in geotechnical engineering research topics which include: sustainable geotechnics, recycled waste materials, ground improvement, pavement geotechnics, railway geotechnics, land reclamation and dredging. He was the Deputy Training Centre Director and Technical Program Coordinator for the ARC Training Centre for Advanced Technologies in Rail Track Infrastructure (2018-2021). Professor Arulrajah is the author of 1 book, 5 book chapters, 350+ journal publications and 100+ conference publications to date. He has an H-index of 70 in Google Scholar and 62 in Scopus. He has supervised 22 PhD students to completion as a principal supervisor and 7 as an associate supervisor. Professor Arulrajah’s research has been recognised by several international and Australian awards. His international awards include: Telford Premium Award from the Institution of Civil Engineers, United Kingdom (2021 and 2009); Chair Professor Award from the National Science and Technology Development Agency Thailand (2020); Shamsher Prakash Prize for Excellence in the Practice of Geotechnical Engineering, USA (2010). His Australian awards include: Australian Pavement and Recycling Association Highly Commended Awards for Excellence in Sustainability and Research (2018 and 2012). He is also the recipient of 6 Swinburne University Vice Chancellor/Researcher Awards. Professor Arulrajah has extensive experience in the geotechnical engineering design, site implementation and project management of numerous large civil engineering infrastructure projects in Australia, Singapore and Malaysia, based on his 14 years of industry experience prior to joining Swinburne in 2006.

Professor joined the team of Civil Engineering department Bejaia university (Algeria) on December 2001 as a lecturer (assistant professor), till 2008, Since 2008 till now with the team of Civil Engineering department, Ferhat Abbes University Setif 1(Algeria) he spends two years (from 2004 to 2006) at the laboratory of structural and continuum Mechanics at Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne, Switzerland, working then on seismic evaluation of existing structures and new structures using Pushover Analysis. And at several occasion since for shorter periods the work was mainly on approximate method for seismic evaluation of buildings this research is documented in two substantial internal reports. his responsibilities during this period in the laboratory of structural and continuum Mechanics at Swiss Federal Institute of Technology(EPFL) Switzerland (Lausanne) From July 2004 to July 2006 is Assistant and debugger of new method implementation in z-soil software. His teaching experience is Strength of materials, Finite element method, Continuum Mechanics,Steel Construction,Computer language programming, Structural Dynamic ,Pre-stressed concrete, special structures.

Dr. Faisal Manzoor Arain is an experienced construction project management professional and academic leader with an MS and PhD in Construction Project Management. He has extensive experience of working at management and leadership positions in industry and academia in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Singapore and Canada. He received a certificate from Harvard University, Boston, USA upon completion of the Leadership Development Program. Dr. Arain has a wealth of technical knowledge and experience as he worked in numerous professionals roles as an Architect, Project Coordinator, Project Manager, Director Projects, and Consultant with construction industry in Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Canada in the domains of Architecture and Construction Project Management. He has extensive experience of managing all phases of construction projects including conceptual phase, front end engineering design, detailed engineering, and related project aspects within construction project management domain. Dr. Arain has consulted, researched and published widely in the discipline of Project Management and Design and Construction Management. His research interests include leadership, project management, designing educational spaces, design and construction interface issues, and the development and application of knowledge-based systems for management of building projects. Dr. Arain serves on editorial boards of several international research journals. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Construction Project Management published by Nova Science Publishers Inc., USA. He is an expert member of the World Association for Sustainable Development, UK. Dr. Arain worked as Chair, Construction Project Management with Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), Calgary, Alberta. He served as the Associate Dean of the School of Sustainable Building and Environmental Management at NAIT, Edmonton, Alberta. He also assisted Saskatchewan Polytechnic, Regina providing educational, administrative and strategic leadership for a new baccalaureate degree program in construction management. Dr. Arain worked as the Senior Principal/Senior Dean, Niagara College (NC) Campuses in KSA. As the Senior Principal/Senior Dean, provided academic quality, administrative and strategic leadership. He recently served as the Vice President, Academic at the Northern Lakes College (NLC), Alberta, Canada. Dr. Arain is currently the Vice President, Academic & Administration at the KLC College, Ontario and the CEO of AM Management Global Inc, Alberta, Canada.

Sam Salem has more than twenty (28) years of professional and academic experience in construction engineering, project management, infrastructure asset management, and sustainable development. He is a registered professional engineer, certified professional constructor, and LEED-accredited professional. His professional/academic experience includes working at Syracuse University, University of Cincinnati, North Dakota State University, Golder Associates, and Alberta Ministry of Infrastructure. Salem has authored and co-authored more than 120 peer-reviewed articles and technical reports, mentored and advised more than 70 graduate students, and generated research funding that exceeded $10 million. He received several research and teaching awards from organizations and institutions here in the US and abroad. He conducted research and consulting work for many national and international, public and private organizations, including several US and Canadian public agencies, the Construction Industry Institute, the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, the City of Cincinnati, Syracuse Metropolitan Water Board, City of Riyadh, Greater Cairo Water and Wastewater District, and Alberta Ministry of Infrastructure. Salem’s research interests include accelerated construction of infrastructure, lean and green construction, project management, public-private partnerships, smart infrastructure, sustainable development, life cycle analysis, and infrastructure asset management. He serves on several boards and committees of many national and international organizations, including the US Green Building Council, Transportation Research Board, American Society of Civil Engineers, US University Transportation Centers, Construction Research Council, Construction Industry Institute, Syracuse Metropolitan Water Board, and International Society for Maintenance and Rehabilitation of Transport Infrastructures (iSMARTi). He also serves on the editorial boards of the ASCE Journal of Infrastructure Systems, the ASCE Journal of Management in Engineering, and the Lean Construction Journal.

Mark Bomberg is a Research Prof. at Mechanical Eng., Clarkson U, Potsdam NY, R&D Manager of DFIE, Inc., Honorary Member of Building Enclosure Technology and Environment (BETEC) Committee of the National Institute of Building Science (NIBS) in Washington, DC. He worked at Nat. Research Council of Canada (1975-2000) and was editor-in-chief of J. Building Physics (1984-2018) He lives in Canada but works in the US and Europe. He taught in, US, Canada, Germany, Poland, China. He received awards in building physics in the US and Canada. His research includes heat, air and moisture, material science and durability of construction materials. He wrote >220 reviewed papers, 7 books, has 68,000 reads,1,250 Research gate citations

Prof. Yang has been committed to research in the field of "bridge monitoring and performance evaluation", focusing on solving the three major issues of "whether there is abnormality, whether it can continue to bear load, and how long its remaining life is" during the service life of bridge structures. He has carried out basic research work on the main line of "abnormal warning → state evaluation → performance prediction" for bridges: ①a mechanism has been established for distinguishing bridge component abnormalities under the interference of multiple sources of non-damage factors, which solves the problem of bridge monitoring being interfered by multiple source factors, resulting in structural abnormality identification failure. a bridge bearing capacity evaluation theory has been established based on structural characteristic parameter inversion, which breaks through the theoretical bottleneck of difficulty in obtaining bridge structural characteristic parameters and quantifying state evaluation. A bridge performance evolution model under the coupling of environment and vehicle is proposed to solve the problems of unclear degradation mechanisms of bridge components and difficult prediction of performance evolution.

Dr. Nur Yazdani is a professor and past Chairperson at the Civil Engineering Department at the University of Texas at Arlington. He received his MS and PhD degrees in structural engineering from the Univ. of Oklahoma, Norman, and the Univ. of Maryland, College Park, respectively. A Fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), the American Concrete Institute (ACI), and the ASCE Structural Engineering Institute (SEI), he is the author or co-author of more than 180 articles in journals and proceedings and an invited speaker at conferences and seminars. Dr. Yazdani is well-known for his research on Bridge Design, Evaluation and Rehabilitation, Sustainable Technologies for the Built Environment, Resilient and High Performing Infrastructure, Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE), Concrete Properties, Coastal Infrastructure and Building Codes. Dr. Yazdani has a P.E. license from the state of Texas. Dr Yazdani has received numerous awards for his teaching and research accomplishments and secured more than $18 million from research projects. Funding sources have included a wide variety of federal, state, and local sources, such as the National Science Foundation (NSF), FEMA, USDOT, TxDOT and FLDOT. Research results have been widely adopted and practiced by state and federal agencies. He has been an active consultant to local, state, international and private entities for many years. Clients have included the World Bank, International Code Council (ICC), the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Dallas Cowboys team, Texas school districts, Texas Motor Speedway, City of Benbrook, Texas, and the FLDOT. Much of the consulting work has focused on bridge and culvert design, evaluation, rehabilitation, and evaluation, NDE, material characterization and structural hazard mitigation, preparedness, and recovery (wind, flood, seismic, blast, fire, hail, impact). The work has encompassed experimental, numerical, and field work, as well as the development, adaptation and implementation of building and bridge codes/specifications {ACI, AASHTO, IBC). Dr. Yazdani has been very active in national societies, such as the ASCE, ACI and the Transportation Research Board (TRB). Leadership roles have included the Chair of the ACI-SEI Committee 343 on Concrete Bridge Design, SEI Committee on Retrofit of Structures under Dynamic Loads, SEI Membership Committee and SEI Fort Worth Branch. He leads the Disaster Mitigation Center (DMC) and the NDE Laboratory at UT Arlington.

Prof. Sócrates Muñoz graduated as Civil Engineer at the Universidad Nacional Pedro Ruiz Gallo (CIP 101909), obtained his Master's degree in Earth Sciences (M.Sc.) with Mention in Geotechnics (Unsaturated Soil Mechanics), at the Universidad Nacional de San Agustín de Arequipa, with PhD in Public Management and Governance at the Universidad César Vallejo and PhD in Civil Engineering at the Universidad Nacional de Santa. Dr. Muñoz has 10.5 years of academic experience and 15 years of professional experience with a strong commitment to safety and the environment which is reflected in his various publications, dedicating his publications to environmental issues. Dr. Muñoz in the academic field is Muñoz in the academic field is a Professor appointed with the category of Principal Professor at the Universidad Nacional Toribio Rodriguez de Mendoza in Amazonas, was Director of School of the Universidad Señor de Sipan, partial professor at the Universidad Tecnológica del Perú and Postgraduate Professor at the Universidad Privada de Tacna in the Master of Civil Engineering with mention in Geotechnics and Postgraduate Professor at the Universidad César Vallejo in the Master of Public Management, Former Professor at the School of Civil Engineering at San Martin de Porres University - North Branch, San Pablo Catholic University - Arequipa, Alas Peruanas, also invited Professor at the National University of San Agustin de Arequipa, Nestor Caceres Velasquez University - Arequipa Branch, in the specialty of Soil Mechanics. , At the undergraduate level he has participated as Advisor and Thesis Jury.

Prof. Andre Vervoort is a mining engineer and received his PhD in 1987 from FPMs, Belgium for a study of the roof behaviour in coal longwalls. From 1988 till 1992, he was a researcher at COMRO, South Africa and was mainly involved in ground control studies for the South African coal mines. Since 1992, he is a professor at the University of Leuven, Belgium. His academic teaching task comprises rock mechanical courses, but also geostatistics, mining methods and aspects of sustainable development. The main focus of his research unit is towards the study of the fracturing process in rock material, based on laboratory experiments and in-situ observations, and on discrete simulations of (micro-) fracturing. During recent years, he studies the effect of the closure of deep coal mines and of the flooding of the underground infrastructure and rock mass on surface movements. These movements are studied by an analysis of remote sensing data and are interpreted by analytical modelling. He published about 250 technical papers.

Dr.-Ing. Steffen Leppla, born in 1979, studied civil engineering in Frankfurt am Main and Darmstadt, Germany. From 2007 to 2017, he served as a scientific research assistant at the Institute and Laboratory of Geotechnics at the Technical University Darmstadt, Germany. His main research topics included soil, rock, and salt mechanics, tunneling, and special geotechnical constructions. Since 2013, he has also been working as a project leader at the international consulting office Ingenieursozietaet Professor Dr.-Ing. Katzenbach GmbH. During his research and project work, he oversees large national and international construction projects. In 2013, he became a certified, independent expert in Geotechnics for underground metro systems and tramways. In 2017, he successfully completed his doctorate with excellence on the topic of "Time-variant material behavior of granular rock salt and simulation in numerical models." Since 2014, Dr. Leppla has been serving as an assistant lecturer for tunneling at the Technical University Darmstadt, Germany. In 2021, he achieved the position of a full professor for Geotechnics at the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences.

Dr. Ngoc-Mai Nguyenspecializes in construction project management, artificial intelligence applications in civil engineering, and building information modeling (BIM). Currently, she is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering and Environmental Informatics at Minghsin University of Science and Technology.Dr. Nguyen received her BS from Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, and her MS and PhDat the Department of Civil and Construction Engineering, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology. Her research contributions are significant, encompassing a substantial number of international journal articles and conference papers in the field of civil engineering management. Additionally, she serves as a member of the editorial boards for a Special Issue of one SCI journal, which holds a Q1 ranking.

Dr Woo has a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering, and he has obtained PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M. He majors in energy system such as HVAC and its heat transfer, optimal design and control of refrigerator, reliability design of thermal components, and failure Analysis of thermal components in marketplace using the Non-destructive such as SEM & XRAY. In 1992.03–1997 he worked in Agency for Defense Development, Chinhae, South Korea, where he has researcher in charge of Development of Naval weapon System. He was working as a Senior Reliability Engineer in Refrigerator Division, Digital Appliance, SAMSUNG Electronics. Now he is working as associate professor in mechanical department, Ethiopian Technical University

Mohammad Khishe received a B.Sc.degree in Maritime Electronics and Communication Engineering from Imam Khomeini Maritime Sciences University, Nowshahr, Iran in 2007 and also, M.Sc. and Ph. D. degrees in Electronic Engineering from Islamic Azad University, Qazvin branch, and Iran University of Science and Technology, Tehran in 2012 and 2017, respectively. Since 2017, he is an assistant professor at Imam Khomeini Maritime Sciences University, Nowshahr, Iran. Currently, he is associate professor at Imam Khomeini Maritime Sciences University, Nowshahr, Iran. His research interests are Optimization, Artificial Neural Networks, Meta-heuristic Algorithms, Sonar and Radar Signal Processing, and FPGA design.

Ilaria Trizio is a building engineer. She holds a PhD in Medieval Archaeology in 2007 at the University of L’Aquila and is a full-time researcher at the L'Aquila branch of ITC-CNR since October 2011. She is a member of the Board of the PhD in Biosciences and Territory - curriculum Applied Sciences - at the University of Molise. She is Responsible for InnResLab (Distributed laboratory for documentation, analysis, conservation, valorisation and regeneration of the built environment) from 2021. Her research activities are related to the documentation, enhancement and accessibility of cultural heritage, in particular of the historic built heritage. Since the beginning, through her research, she has approached issues related to the combination of procedures for the archaeological, architectural and urban survey and the use of information technology applied to the analysis of the historical buildings, with particular reference to Architectural Information Systems (SIArch) and processes HBIM (Historical Building Information Modelling).

Dr. Mubarak Ahmad Khan is former Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) and Director General of Bangladesh Atomic Energy Research Establishment. Now, he is working as Scientific Advisor of Bangladesh Jute Mills Corporation, Ministry of Textiles and Jute. Dr. Khan is working in several promising areas of nanotechnology, material science, biodegradable polymers. He has invented Sonali Bag® (biodegradable biopolymer as an alternative for single use plastics) and Jutin® (Jute Reinforced Polymer Corrugated Sheet, the outstanding housing material from jute).He worked in Germany as Alexander von Humboldt Fellow (AvH), German Academic Service (DAAD) in Japan as Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS), and The Matsumae International Foundation (MIF) Fellow, in USA (Michigan State University) as visiting scientist, in Australia (University of New South Wells) as IAEA fellow

Dr. Tanvi Singh, a seasoned professional in Civil Engineering, earned distinction in B.Tech from Hindustan College of Science and Technology (2010) and completed M.Tech in Soil Mechanics at NIT Kurukshetra (2013). Her Ph.D. at NIT Kurukshetra (2018) focused on "Behaviour of Batter Pile Groups under Oblique Loads." Having achieved fellowship status with a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education (2023), she is currently pursuing an M.Sc in Data Science at IIT Bangalore. As a Lecturer at the University of The West of England since April 2022, her eight years of prior academia in India include roles at Lingayas University and NIT Kurukshetra, and as Head of the Department at Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology (2019–2022). Dr. Singh's expertise lies in geotechnical engineering, machine learning, and neural networks, showcased through numerous publications and leadership roles. She serves as the Editor of the Department Magazine, NIRMAAN.

MehrdadKhoshoei received a B.Sc.degree in Civil Engineering from Imam Khomeini Maritime Sciences University of Isfahan, Isfahan, Iran in 2010 and also, M.Sc. and Ph. D. degrees both in Water Resources Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology, Isfahan, and Iran University of Science and Technology, Isfahan in 2012 and 2018, respectively. Since 2018, he is an assistant professor at University of Kashan, Kashan, Iran. He also completed a research opportunity at UNSW in Sydney, Australia. His research interests are hydrology, hydrogeology, water management, drought and climate change, numerical calculations of water, and Integrated management of water resources.

Dr. Onjala holds PhD in Environmental Economics from Roskilde University (Denmark). He currently teaches postgraduate courses on Environment and Natural Resources Management and Energy Policy & Planning Methods at IDS. He also teaches PhD classes in Development Economics at the School of Economics (University of Nairobi) and a visiting fellow at the African Economic Research Consortium Collaborative PhD Programme (CPP) JFE. Dr. Onjala has a wide research experience in environment and development issues and has previously played a leading role in the preparation of a number of Human Development Reports with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) on Human Security and Development, and Industrialization and Human Development in Kenya. In addition to research on China-Africa Economic relations, he has also worked on environment related projects with United Nations Centre for Regional Development (UNCRD), United National Environment Programme, World Wide Fund (WWF) for Nature – Eastern African Regional Office, United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) and International Union of Conservation of Nature (IUCN)

Anehmbom Ghoutum completed her primary education in Bamenda, in the North West Region. There she pursued her secondary and high school education and obtained her GCE O and A levels. At the University of Yaounde I she read Geography. There she cultivated the passion for studying and working for the environment. Despite limited material resources, she did her best to excel academically in her specialty. After completing her undergraduate studies, she continued for a professional Master’s degree in Remote Sensing, Cartography and GIS at the University of Yaounde I where she obtained her first master’s degree with distinction. A couple of years later, in her quest to fulfil a stronger purpose of becoming a researcher, she got recruited in the Ministry of scientific research and innovation and was sent to the National Institute of Cartography. Some few years later, she was appointed as service head of Map editing and dissemination in the department of productions. After six years of hard work, she earned a recognition for her outstanding performance at work. Meanwhile she also enrolled for a second master’s degree in Geography at the University of Dschang where she completed with distinction. Over the years, she developed greater interest on population mobility and accessibility and decided to focus her research and career in making contributions in this sector. Thus she sort to pursue a PhD in Global Environmental Studies at the SOHPIA University of Tokyo Japan where she is currently completing her first year of PhD.

A Life Fellow of IEB and member of ASCE, USA, and the New York Academy of Sciences, USA, Dr. Alam has received prestigious awards, including the UNESCO Educational Achievement Award and the 2018 Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award, USA. He has contributed to international projects, published a book on earthquake-resistant construction, and is currently engaged in research on SMART village and SMART city initiatives in Bangladesh. Recently appointed as the Vice Chancellor of RUET, Dr. Alam continues to make significant contributions to the field of civil engineering.
